Halloumi, courgette and tomato kebabs
Easy Red- Beaujolais
Summer has arrived, it’s time to get the barbeque out for these vegetarian skewers. The perfect pairing? The Beaujolais Nouveaux you wisely saved for just this occasion!
Ingredients
- 1 pack of halloum
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 courgette
- A dozen or so cherry tomatoes
- 1 red onion
- 10 wooden skewers
Preparation
- Step 1Cut the halloumi into cubes.
- Step 2In a bowl, mix the honey and olive oil, then add the halloumi.
- Step 3Wash the courgette, then cut into ribbons using a vegetable peeler.
- Step 4Wash the cherry tomatoes and cut in half.
- Step 5Chop the onion.
- Step 6Assemble your kebabs on wooden skewers, alternating the ingredients.
- Step 7Cook on the barbeque or plancha.
- Step 8Enjoy!
